Sevilla - 23 January 2009

Walked & walked - out 8 hrs with only 30mins sit down for lunch. We were all pretty tired when we arrived back at the apartment. Most of the day was at the Cathedral - the recorded commentary said it is the largest gothic structure in the world, and the 3rd largest church, with the Basillica at the Vatican and St Paul's in London larger.

After that we went for a wander through the Barrio de Santa Cruz, did some souvenier shopping (even broker now), then a back via the Rio Guadalquivir.

Amy cooked tea again while I tried to sort out the photos.

Wow - catherdral sounds amaxing. I went to the Peterborough cathedral which is/was the buggest is England and is where  Catherine of Aragon (Henry's first wife) is buried. What did you buy? Not another carpet I hope!!! In Madrid you must go and see the Palace -  it s truely enourmous and very grand (well from the outside anyway)
